Are you an experienced Lineworker with a passion for mentoring the next generation? A leading Tier 1 Infrastructure & Utilities provider is seeking a qualified ESI Trainer to lead high-quality training and competency development programs.
In this role, you will deliver structured training, gap analysis, and refresher courses aligned with Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead. You will play a critical role in ensuring our apprentices and experienced lineworkers operate with the highest standards of safety and technical excellence across Victoria and the East Coast.
Training Delivery: Conduct high-quality assessments and training for Overhead Distribution, including Glove and Barrier methods and HV operating procedures.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all programs meet ASQA and RTO requirements, as well as national safety protocols and legislative standards.
Mentorship: Provide hands-on coaching and technical support to apprentices, trainees, and interstate/overseas lineworkers.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the creation and updating of course materials to reflect evolving industry needs and HSE frameworks.
Safety Leadership: Champion a "Safety First" culture by implementing robust risk management and Critical Risk Controls during on-site and classroom sessions.
Administration: Manage training registers, book sessions through the RTO, and maintain meticulous student records.
We are seeking a technical expert who can translate field experience into engaging classroom and on-the-job instruction.
Qualifications: Must hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience training ESI UET30621 programs with a deep understanding of Overhead Distribution.
Licensing: Current State Electrical Supply Industry skills and Lineworker Registration/License are essential.
Regulatory Knowledge: Proficient in maintaining ASQA training records and ensuring RTO compliance.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a national team.
Mobility: Ability to travel across Victoria and the East Coast to deliver training on-premises and on-job.
